NOVELTY - Preparation of self-supporting porous lithium titanate composite precursor comprises dispersing titanium dioxide, lithium source and graphene oxide in deionized water, ball milling, ultrasonically processing, homogenizing at high speed to obtain slurry A, using melamine foam as structure framework, soaking slurry, fully filling first slurry to foam pores, drying, and tableting. USE - The method is used for preparing self-supporting porous lithium titanate composite precursor for preparing lithium ion battery cathode material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare self-supporting porous lithium titanate composite precursor, which improves the electronic conductivity and the lithium ion diffusion rate of the material, and battery performance of the composite cathode material. The method can omit coating process, directly used as battery pole piece, without conductive agent, adhesive and current collector, so the cost is low, more environment-friendly, and the pole piece has higher energy density.
