NOVELTY - Manufacture of graphene thin film involves depositing a metal catalyst on a mold including a substrate having a graphene layer formed on both surfaces, to form a metal catalyst layer, forming a graphene thin film on the surface of the metal catalyst layer by chemical vapor deposition process, and peeling and removing the metal catalyst layer from the mold. USE - Manufacture of graphene thin film (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables manufacture of large-area graphene thin film with improved productivity as compared with the existing method. Since the graphene thin film is formed only on a single surface of the metal catalyst layer, an additional process is not required, thereby simplifying the manufacturing process. Since the mold can be reused after peeling off the metal catalyst layer, the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
