▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Catalyst comprises a carbonaceous nanoplate functionalized with an oxygen-containing group comprising a carbonyl group, provided on a basal surface and an edge of the carbonaceous nanoplate, where the carbonaceous nanoplate includes quinone group. USE - The catalyst is useful in electrochemical synthesis for generating hydrogen peroxide as a disinfectant, bleach, disinfectant, and eco-friendly oxidizing agent in chemical synthesis, and a potential energy carrier. ADVANTAGE - The catalyst has high oxygen reduction activity by functionalizing it with an oxygen-containing group, thus increasing the hydrogen peroxide production reaction catalyst efficiency; and does not contain inorganic substances or metals, thus there is no emission of environmental pollutants in the manufacturing process, and is environmentally-friendly and suitable for industrial production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for producing catalyst for hydrogen peroxide generation comprising preparing a container, and mechanically mixing to obtain a functionalized carbonaceous nanoplate comprising a quinone group, after providing a carbonaceous nanoplate and a carbon dioxide source into the container.
