▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Liquid formulation comprises: 0.00001-2 wt.% nanostructures; 0.0001-20 wt.% a stabilizer; 0.001-20 wt.% a film forming polymer; and a solvent. USE - The formulation is useful: as a broad-spectrum antibacterial formulation for forming a film on both porous and non-porous substrates including wood, plastics, glass, ceramics, paper, metal, cemented surfaces, porous and non-porous fabric-polyester, polypropylene, cotton for use in day-to-day settings and for making surgical gowns, coveralls, drapes, masks to prevent the growth of microorganisms and prevent transmission of micro-organisms to humans; and in equipment in hospitals e.g. hospital beds, trays, doors, door handles, objects in operation theater or any metal, glass, wood, ceramic substrates/objects in hospitals. ADVANTAGE - The formulation: shows broad-spectrum antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, and antimold activities; is resistant to normal wear and tear; does not impart any undesirable color to the substrate, even on lightly colored substrates or glasses; is sprayable-mist formation; is stable for over 1 year; is easy to use and doesn't require any special equipment for application, it can be used by the end-user; is resistant to normal wear and tear and resistant to high temperatures and humidity; doesn't require multiple application; is non-tacky; is durable to dry handling, after application on substrates; is durable to wet handling; is durable to aging; doesn't affect porosity of porous substrates on application; and is effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria including any other bacteria causing diseases in humans and animals, all fungus known to cause disease in humans and animals, and both DNA and RNA viruses. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the liquid formulation comprising adding 0.0001-20 wt.% a stabilizer in 0.00001-2 wt.% nanostructures to form an aqueous dispersion of nanostructures and dispersing 0.001-20 wt.% a film forming polymer in solid or liquid form in the aqueous dispersion of nanostructures to obtain the liquid formulation.
