NOVELTY - An impregnate comprises a resin for impregnating and/or coating the paper, carbon-based particles, preferably carbon nanotubes or graphene, in which the surface of the carbon-based particles is modified with at least one silicon-containing compound (I), at least one further silicon-containing compound (II), and inorganic particles with size of 2-400 nm, preferably 2-50 nm. USE - Impregnate used as overlay impregnated material, power impregnated material and/or decorative impregnated material for laminate and wood-based material board (all claimed) for modern furniture and floor. ADVANTAGE - The impregnate has excellent antistatic properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An impregnate comprises a resin for impregnating and/or coating the paper, carbon-based particles, preferably carbon nanotubes or graphene, in which the surface of the carbon-based particles is modified with at least one silicon-containing compound of formula: R1aSiX(4-a) (I), at least one further silicon-containing compound of formula: R3cSiX(4-c)(II), and inorganic particles with size of 2-400 nm, preferably 2-50 nm. X = methoxy, ethoxy, n-propoxy or i-propoxy; R1 = organic radical chosen from methyl, ethyl, propyl and vinyl, including functional group chosen from acrylic, acryloxy, methacryl, methacryloxy, and epoxide group; a = 1 or 2; R3 = non-hydrolyzable organic radical chosen from 1-10C alkyl and 6-10C aryl;and c = 1, 2 or 3. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) manufacture of the impregnate, which involves providing a resin suspension containing carbon-based particles, at least one compound (I) and at least one compound (II), providing a paper layer, impregnating the paper ply with the resin suspension, preferably impregnation channel, and/or coating the paper ply with the resin suspension and drying the impregnated and/or coated paper layer; (2) laminate, which comprises at least one impregnate; and (3) wood-based material board, which comprises at least one carrier board and at least one impregnate arranged on at least one side of the carrier board.
