NOVELTY - Method for preparing graphene oxide modified calcium alginate immobilized microorganism, involves mixing sodium alginate and graphene oxide with deionized water, heating, cooling, adding immobilized microorganism into the solution, uniformly mixing the solution, adding water to calcium chloride to obtain cross-linking agent, adding cross-linking agent into immobilized microorganism solution to obtain spherical particles, soaking the particles, filtering the mixture, and washing the mixture using deionized water to obtain immobilized microorganism particles. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene oxide modified calcium alginate immobilized microorganism which is used for treatment of heavy metals in wastewater or radioactive waste water (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple to perform and cost-effective. The immobilized microorganism has high stability and excellent biological adsorption performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for immobilized microorganism, which is prepared by the method.
