NOVELTY - Fluorin-graphite co-doped modified titanium dioxide is prepared by using hydrofluoric acid, graphene oxide and titanium dioxide. USE - Fluorin-graphite co-doped modified titanium dioxide for photocatalytic removal of bromate from water. ADVANTAGE - The fluorin-graphite co-doped modified titanium dioxide has improved catalytic activity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Fluorin-graphite co-doped modified titanium dioxide which is represented by linear formula FxGyT is prepared by using hydrofluoric acid, graphene oxide and titanium dioxide where x is mass percentage of titanium dioxide and hydrofluoric acid and y is mass percentage of graphene oxide and titanium dioxide. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing Fluorin-graphite co-doped modified titanium dioxide which involves mixing graphene oxide, ethanol, titanium dioxide and hydrofluoric acid to obtain primary mixture liquid, ultrasonicating primary mixture liquid for 1-5 hours to obtain mixed liquid, heating mixed liquid hydrothermally at 160-200 degrees C for 18-30 hours, cooling to obtain precursor and irradiating precursor using ultraviolet light to obtain desired fluorin-graphite co-doped modified titanium dioxide.
