NOVELTY - The switch has a switch cathode and a switch anode formed with a switch cavity that is filled with insulating gas, where the switch cathode and the switch anode are selected as a bruce section electrode. The switch cathode is connected with the switch anode. A surface of the switch cathode is coated with a graphene film, where thickness of the graphene film is less than 1 nm and coverage rate of the graphene film is more than 50%. A switch body is provided with an outer cylinder that is fixed with a left insulating supporting plate and a right insulating supporting plate. The switch cathode is fixed with a left side of the left insulating supporting plate. USE - Metal-base graphene thin film cathode gas spark switch for use in pulse power device. ADVANTAGE - The switch is simple in structure, increases breakdown voltage, and has high reliability, and ensures stable operation of a pulse power device.
