NOVELTY - Preparing graphene oxide by microfluidic control involves: mixing graphite powder and an intercalating agent (A) to obtain a premixed solution (A); mixing an oxidizing agent and an intercalating agent (B) to obtain a premixed solution (B); introducing the solutions (A) and (B) into a micromixer, and mixing to obtain a mixed suspension of graphite, oxidizing agent and intercalating agent; introducing the mixed suspension into a microchannel reactor for reacting; and separating graphene oxide and acid solution containing oxidizing agent in the reaction mixture flowing out of the reactor, collecting graphene oxide, and quenching the reaction. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene oxide. ADVANTAGE - The method provides graphene oxide with high purity.
