NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene oxide/polycarboxylic acid water reducer involves mixing 30-40 %mass polyoxyethylene ether aqueous solution and 1-3 %mass graphene oxide aqueous solution at 20-30?Oc to prepare a base solution, adding polyoxyethylene ether and graphene oxide in the mass ratio of 70:2-6, adding and mixing ascorbic acid such that the mass ratio of polyoxyethylene ether, graphene oxide and ascorbic acid is 2-8:25-30:2000, adding mixed solution of thioglycolic acid and water to the base solution, mixing 27-34 %mass acrylic acid aqueous solution, 21-34 %mass hydrogen peroxide and stabilizers. USE - Preparation of graphene oxide/polycarboxylic acid water reducer used in concrete products. ADVANTAGE - The method produces water reducer which can affect the microstructure of the hydration product in the concrete at the microscopic level. The water reducer improves the concrete crack resistance and porosity, improves the density of cement-based materials, and enhances the impermeability of concrete grade.
