NOVELTY - Preparing graphene, comprises: producing graphite electrodes from graphite; assembling the graphite electrode as a positive electrode and metallic lithium as a negative electrode into a battery to obtain lithium graphite after a constant current discharge; dispersing the lithium graphite into small molecule organic solvent; and ultrasonically processing the mixture to obtain graphene. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is capable of simply preparing the graphene by ultrasonically processing the lithium graphite.
