NOVELTY - Thermoelectric powder comprises core-shell structure containing lead-selenium-based thermoelectric material as core portion (20), and graphene oxide or reduced graphene oxide coated on the surface of the core portion as shell portion (30). USE - The thermoelectric powder is useful for producing thermoelectric material of thermoelectric device (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The thermoelectric powder has improved heat resistance, photon scattering, adhesive strength, thermal stability, and low degree of deterioration even after long-term use at high temperature, and is economical. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) thermoelectric material comprising either: a sintered body which is made of the thermoelectric powder, or lead-selenium-based thermoelectric material grain in which graphene oxide or reduced graphene oxide located at grain boundaries between the thermoelectric material grains consolidated by sintering; (2) thermoelectric device comprising a thermoelectric material; (3) producing thermoelectric powders, comprising (a) preparing lead-selenium-based thermoelectric material core portion, and (b) forming graphene oxide or reduced graphene oxide shell portion on the surface of the core portion; and (4) producing thermoelectric materials, comprising (i) preparing the thermoelectric powder of core-shell structure including lead-selenium-based thermoelectric material core portion and a graphene oxide or reduced graphene oxide shell portion coated on the surface of the core portion, and (ii) sintering the thermoelectric powder.
