NOVELTY - High-strength halogen-free flame-retardant thermoplastic elastomer cable material comprises 40-50 pts. wt. thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) resin, 20-27 pts. wt. styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene (SEBS) thermoplastic elastomer, 10-13 pts. wt. polypropylene resin, 5-8 pts. wt. modified graphene oxide, 10-14 pts. wt. maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene, 7-12 pts. wt. melamine pyrophosphate, 4-9 pts. wt. pentaerythritol, 1-3 pts. wt. flame retardant, 1-3 pts. wt. flame retardant synergist, and 2-5 pts. wt. antioxidant. USE - Used as high-strength halogen-free flame-retardant thermoplastic elastomer cable material. ADVANTAGE - The material: combines the water resistance of SEBS thermoplastic elastomer, which ensures flexibility and excellent electrical performance with the wear resistance of TPE resin by modifying; has excellent performance of two component polymer; uses flame retardant master batch, flame retardant and flame retardant synergist for halogen-free flame-retardant modified, which has good flame retardant property, and has wear-resistant performance and strength. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing high-strength halogen-free flame-retardant TPE cable material comprising (i) preparing flame retardant master batch by firstly taking maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene, melamine pyrophosphate and pentaerythritol in a vacuum drying box, drying at 60degreesC for 12 hours, ensuring rheometer the temperature of 180-220degreesC, firstly adding maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene, melting, slowly adding melamine pyrophosphate, mixing for 10-15 minutes, then adding pentaerythritol, continuously blending for 10-15 minutes, (ii) preparing flame retardant TPE/SEBS composite material by firstly adding TPE resin, SEBS thermoplastic elastomer, flame retardant master batch, flame retardant, flame retardant synergist and antioxidant into the mixer, mixing for 20-30 min at the rotating speed of 3000- 4500r/min, then pre-heating the mixing groove of the rheometer to 160-180degreesC, adding mixed TPE resin under the condition of a certain rotating speed of the rheometer, SEBS thermoplastic elastomer, flame retardant master batch, flame retardant, flame retardant synergist and antioxidant, immediately sealing a mixing groove, melting and blending the material in the mixing groove, ensuring the torque of the material reaches the balance for a certain time, obtaining the flame retardant TPE/SEBS composite material, (iii) preparing high strength halogen-free flame-retardant TPE cable material, taking flame-retardant TPE/SEBS composite material as base material, adding polyolefin resin, modified graphene oxide and antioxidant in a high speed mixer, mixing for 8-10 hours, feeding to the double-screw extruder for extruding and granulating, drying the pellet in a hot air dryer to obtain the high-strength halogen-free flame-retardant TPE cable material, where the double-screw extruding temperature is 180-200degreesC, and the temperature of the hot air drier is to be 40-60degreesC.
