NOVELTY - Antistatic polyglycolic acid composition comprises 100 pts. wt. polyglycolic acid, 0.01-10 pts. wt. antistatic agent, preferably 0.1-1 pts. wt. The antistatic agent is edge-modified graphene and the edge-modified graphene has the following characteristics: the average sheet diameter is 2-30 μm, preferably 5-15 μm, have an average aspect ratio of 600-10,000:1, preferably 1500-3800:1, have a conductivity of 200-800 S/m, preferably 300-600 S/m. In the edge-modified graphene, the oxygen content in terms of oxygen element is 3-30 (at)%, preferably 5-18 at%. The hydrogen content in terms of hydrogen element is 1-10 at%, preferably 3-8 at%. USE - The composition and material are useful in the field of electronic packaging material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composition: has good mechanical property and antistatic property; can be naturally degraded; greatly improves mechanical property e.g. tensile strength and impact strength, which is of great significance for practical production and application; has non-cross-linked structure; can be degraded in a neutral environment; does not cause secondary pollution to the formation and meets the requirements of circular economy. The method: is environmentally-friendly, simple process and economical; has short reaction cycle and prepares edge carboxylated graphene has good sheet integrity.
