NOVELTY - A reduced graphene oxide-based biosensor comprises source and drain electrodes spaced apart from each other on a substrate, a reduced graphene oxide layer formed in contact with source and drain electrodes and field-effect transistor comprising probe which specifically binds to to-be-detected biomaterial fixed on the reduced graphene oxide layer. USE - Reduced graphene oxide-based biosensor is used for detecting biomaterial e.g. virus (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) manufacture of reduced graphene oxide-based biosensor, which involves laminating graphene oxide layer on a substrate, reducing the graphene oxide layer and forming a reduced graphene oxide layer, forming source and drain electrodes on each side of the reduced graphene oxide layer, patterning the reduced graphene oxide layer, and immobilizing the probe, which specifically binds to the to-be-detected biomaterial on the reduced graphene oxide layer; and (2) biomaterial detection method, which involves contacting probe with sample, measuring the drain current and detecting biomaterial in sample.
