NOVELTY - A lithium secondary battery comprises a positive electrode comprising a positive electrode mixture layer comprising a positive electrode active material and a lithium-cobalt-zinc oxide additive (I), a negative electrode, and an electrolyte containing alkyne compound (II) in which the positive electrode and the negative electrode are immersed. USE - Lithium secondary battery for electric vehicles. ADVANTAGE - The lithium secondary battery has improved decrease in battery capacity due to the irreversible reaction of the battery, realizes low electrical resistance and high charge/discharge capacity, and used in fields requiring high-speed charging and/or high capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A lithium secondary battery comprises a positive electrode comprising a positive electrode mixture layer comprising a positive electrode active material and a lithium-cobalt-zinc oxide additive of formula: LixCo1-yZnyO4(I), a negative electrode, and an electrolyte containing alkyne compound of formula (II) in which the positive electrode and the negative electrode are immersed. x=5-7; y=0-0.4; R =1-4C alkylamino or 4-7 ring heteroalkyl or 4-7 ring heteroaryl (both containing N);and n=1-4.
