NOVELTY - Preparing cerium-doped nitrogen-doped graphene oxide comprises (i) mixing and calcining graphene oxide and urea to obtain nitrogen-doped graphene oxide; and (ii) adding the nitrogen-doped graphene oxide into the first alcohol solution for uniform dispersion, adding the cerium salt, stirring uniformly under the protection of inert gas, adding sodium borohydride and stirring to react. USE - The cerium-doped nitrogen-doped graphene oxide is useful in treating organic wastewater (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides graphene oxide can efficiently activate persulfate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for cerium-doped nitrogen-doped graphene oxide, prepared as mentioned above.
