NOVELTY - Methacrylic acid graphene polymer (I). USE - Methacrylic acid graphene polymer for initiating polymerization and forming multi-terminal polymerization initiation system. ADVANTAGE - The methacrylic acid graphene polymer does not require any initiator or catalyst for showing its activity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Methacrylic acid graphene polymer of formula (I) n1, n2 and n3=integer independently taken from 10-50; and R=1-10C hydrogen, alkyl, 2-6C is alkenyl, alkynyl, or alkoxy, 1-6C alkyl or aryl group. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing methacrylic acid graphene polymer, involves: (A) heating N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone solution of graphene to reflux; (B) adding alkenediene to N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone solution and subjecting to reaction for 1-12 hours to obtain reaction solution; (C) passing obtained reaction solution through a microporous membrane, and filtering with tetrahydrofuran to obtain a polymer; and (D) dispersing the obtained polymer in tetrahydrofuran solution to obtain the desired product.
