NOVELTY - Preparing ultra-fine glass fiber battery separator comprises (1) adding phenol, formaldehyde and sodium hydroxide into a reaction kettle, mixing, ultrasonic treating, adding graphene oxide solution into the reaction kettle to react to obtain phenolic resin solution, cooling, adding melamine, urea and ammonium sulfate and stirring to react to obtain phenolic resin adhesive, (2) taking glass balls, calcining the glass balls in a furnace to obtain glass liquid, flowing out the glass liquid from leakage plate and straightening it to obtain secondary fiber filaments, collecting it through cotton collector, spraying the phenolic resin adhesive and curing to obtain ultra-fine glass fiber, and (3) beating ultra-fine glass fiber, water and sulfuric acid, continue to stir thus that the fiber cotton felt is evenly distributed in the liquid in a free state, and performing homogenization to obtain uniform layer of glass fiber wool, dehydrating, resin casting and shaping. USE - The method is useful for preparing ultra-fine glass fiber battery separator. ADVANTAGE - The method: utilizes modified phenolic resin adhesive, which effectively improves the strength, tensile properties and high temperature resistance of battery separators; and ensures the ultra-fine glass fiber cotton felt is homogenized for many times to improve the uniformity of the battery separator, and thus improves the service life of the lead-acid battery.
