NOVELTY - Preparing modified sulfur-containing graphene material comprises e.g. mixing 10-100 pts. wt. graphene oxide and 5-90 pts. wt. sulfur-containing small molecules in solvent A under nitrogen atmosphere, centrifuging, washing to obtain sulfurized graphene oxide, adding modified sulfurized graphene oxide into aqueous solution, adjusting pH to 11, then adding hydrazine hydrate, refluxing, centrifuging reaction solution, washing, drying to obtain modified sulfur-containing graphene, where sulfur-containing small molecule is Lawson's reagent, phosphorus pentasulfide or ammonium thiocyanate. USE - The material is useful in the field of information transmission (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material has flame retardant, increases wear resistance, and enhances mechanical property of cable shield. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing modified sulfur-containing graphene material comprises mixing 10-100 pts. wt. graphene oxide and 5-90 pts. wt. sulfur-containing small molecules in solvent A under nitrogen atmosphere for 6-24 hours, centrifuging, washing to obtain sulfurized graphene oxide, adding modified sulfurized graphene oxide into aqueous solution, adjusting pH to 11, then adding hydrazine hydrate, refluxing at 98 degrees C for 12-24 hours, centrifuging reaction solution, washing, drying to obtain modified sulfur-containing graphene, where sulfur-containing small molecule is Lawson's reagent, phosphorus pentasulfide, ammonium thiocyanate, mercaptoethylamine, p-aminothiophenol, polysulfide silane coupling agent, mercaptosilane coupling agent or thiocarboxylate silane coupling agent, and solvent A is tetrahydrofuran, acetonitrile or N-methylpyrrolidone.
