NOVELTY - Preparing polystyrene-graphene composite material comprises (1) processing the graphite into nitrided expanded graphite under the action of an intercalation solvent, under the action of ammonium bicarbonate, exfoliating nitrided expanded graphite to obtain expandable nitrided graphene, (2) modifying expandable graphene nitride with methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane to obtain the modified expandable graphene nitride, (3) mixing the modified expandable graphene nitride with styrene monomer, polymerizing to obtain modified polystyrene, coaxially electrospinning the modified polystyrene and polyvinylidene fluoride to obtain composite fibers, and (4) mixing styrene monomer with composite fiber, initiator, sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, deionized water evenly, heating for polymerization, adding isopentane, continue polymerization, cooling to room temperature naturally, and discharging the composite material is obtained. USE - The method is useful for preparing polystyrene-graphene composite material, which is useful for processing polystyrene plate (claimed), building wall, roof heat preservation, refrigerator, air conditioner, vehicle, heat preservation and heat insulation of the floor, heating and decoration engraving. ADVANTAGE - The polystyrene-graphene composite material: has high mechanical strength and good flame retardant performance.
