NOVELTY - An environmentally-friendly elastic pavement composition comprises 30-85 wt.% functional filler and 15-70 wt.% binder. The functional filler comprises 35-95 wt.% cork, 1-30 wt.% calcium carbonate, 1-25 wt.% beryllium, 1-20 wt.% calcium chloride or sodium chloride, 1-20 wt.% sodium sulfate, 0.5-15 wt.% graphene, 0.5-15 wt.% pigment, and 0.01-10 wt.% magnesium aluminate or vanadium. The functional binder comprises 20-95 wt.% polycaprolactone polyol, 1-30 wt.% polydiallyl phthalate, 1-25 wt.% polyphenylene sulfide, 1-25 wt.% ethylene-fluoroethylene copolymer, 1-15 wt.% bisphenol A-diphenyl carbonate polymer, 0.5-15 wt.% polyvinyl formal, and 0.5-15 wt.% N-aminoethyl- gamma -aminopropyltrimethoxysilane. USE - Environmentally-friendly elastic pavement composition. Uses include but are not limited to children playground, walkway, sidewalk, surrounding buildings, children and elderly people welfare facilities, and sports facilities. ADVANTAGE - The environmentally-friendly elastic pavement composition has excellent flexibility, strength, water permeability, adhesiveness, wear resistance, antibacterial property, durability, and compression recovery characteristics, ensures user safety, and maintains high snow melting function, which prevents slipping. The composition has lesser radiant heat than rubber pavement materials, and is safe as it contains no heavy metals and volatile organic compounds. The composition prevents phenomenon of turning off when urban sinkhole occurs, there is no rubber odor and hence, can create a pleasant environment during use. The use of cork chips provides cushion feel. Cellulose acetate butyrate prevents surface defects, such as brush/roller marks, orange peel, craters, pinholes, and color stains. Cork also has excellent heat absorption characteristics.
