NOVELTY - Preparing graphene antibacterial material comprises subjecting graphene to an oxygen plasma, an ultraviolet irradiation or an annealing treatment under an inert gas atmosphere to make the surface form an oxygen deficient active site, and then subjecting to an annealing treatment under an oxygen-containing atmosphere, forming a carbon-oxygen bond on the surface of the graphene to obtain the graphene antibacterial material, where the wavelength of the ultraviolet irradiation is 200 275 nm, the annealing treatment is carried out under the inert gas atmosphere and oxygen-containing atmosphere, pre-annealing for t1, ensuring annealing time as t, annealing temperature as T for recovering to the room temperature as t2, and ensuring annealing temperature and time according to the formula of Tasterisk t=C (1), and t1 = t2 = T/K (2), in the formula (1), C is the time constant, the value is 100-3000degrees Celsius asterisk h, in the formula (2), K is the time constant, and the value is 2-70degrees Celsius/minute. USE - The material is useful in antibacterial aspect (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple; has good operability; high stability; and uses the graphene surface for oxygen control. The material: has high antibacterial property and excellent biocompatibility; uses the antibacterial material surface oxygen carbon bond damage to the bacterial structure; so as to cause inhibitory action to the bacteria; and can reach highest antibacterial rate of 95%.
