▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Reducing thiophene in diesel fuel with a graphene oxide adsorbent, comprises contacting the diesel fuel with a fixed bed adsorbent, where the fixed bed adsorbent comprises graphene oxide doped with nanoparticles of aluminum oxide, the nanoparticles of aluminum oxide are present as a layer on the surface of the graphene oxide, the contacting forms a treated diesel fuel having a reduced concentration of the thiophene, and the fixed bed adsorbent has a weight ratio of carbon to aluminum of 3:1 to 30:1, and a weight ratio of carbon to oxygen of 3:1-29:1. USE - The method is useful for reducing thiophene in diesel fuel with a graphene oxide adsorbent. ADVANTAGE - The method provides higher removal efficiency of the thiophene compounds from the fuel.
