▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Preparing a graphene precursor involves providing a plant based source of carbon, where plant based source containing 20 wt.% carbon, mixing plant based source of carbon with water at a ratio of one portion plant based source of carbon to five portions water to one portion plant based source of carbon to ten parts water to form a mixture of plant based source of carbon in water, carbonizing the plant based source of carbon in water by heating the mixture of plant based source of carbon in water to a temperature between about 200-400 degrees C for a period of 30 minutes, and isolating the graphene precursor. USE - Method for preparing graphene precursor. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphene precursor which is helps to increases pressure within the reactor, and suitable for solubilizing the bio-oils. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method of preparing graphene, which involves: (A) providing a graphene precursor having carbon, oxygen and hydrogen weight percentages in range of 40-95 wt.% carbon, 15-50 wt.% oxygen, 3-10 wt.% hydrogen; (B) drying the graphene precursor at a temperature between 100-110 degrees C for a period of 12-24 hours; (C) reducing the particle size of the graphene precursor; (D) placing the graphene precursor on a metal foil and placing the metal foil with the graphene precursor in a reactor; (E) flowing a gas that is non-reactive with the graphene precursor through the reactor; (F) increasing the temperature of the reactor to a first target temperature between 750-1200 degrees C; (G) maintaining the target temperature for about 30-120 minutes; and (H) cooling the reactor to a second target temperature between 400-800 degrees C, and cooling the reactor to ambient conditions;providing layered graphene on surface of the metal foil.
