NOVELTY - Poly(butylene terephthalate) composite material with modified composite carbon material comprises carbon fiber/graphene modified composite carbon material, and composite material is made of 70-80 pts. wt. polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), 20-30 pts. wt. polyolefin elastomers, 2-10 pts. wt. compatibilizer, 5-15 pts. wt. carbon fiber/graphene modified composite carbon material, 0.1-0.5 pts. wt. antioxidant, 0.2-1 pts. wt. lubricant. USE - Poly(butylene terephthalate) composite material with modified composite carbon material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing poly(butylene terephthalate) composite material with modified composite carbon material, which involves: (A) forming carbon fiber/graphene modified composite carbon material, performing pretreatment of carbon fiber, soaking carbon fiber in acetone at 35-40 degrees C for 20-24 hours, drying in drying oven at 70 degrees C for 5 hours to obtain degummed carbon fiber and obtain pretreated carbon fiber, reacting pretreated carbon fiber in strong oxidizer at 80-110 degrees C for 2-5 hours, cooling reaction, washing to pH 6-7, and drying in drying oven at 70 degrees C for 5 hours to obtain oxidation-treated carbon fiber, placing 10g of oxidized carbon fiber and 200-300ml of absolute ethanol in 500ml round-bottomed flask, performing ultrasonic dispersion for 30-40 minutes to obtain carbon fiber suspension, adding carbon fiber suspension to solution containing POE-g-MAH, adding 0.06-1 pts. wt. initiator, and refluxing for 2-3 hours at 40-50 degrees C, washing and drying to obtain grafted carbon fiber, taking 100ml of concentrated sulfuric acid in the reaction flask, controlling temperature in the reaction flask within 4 degrees C with ice water bath, and then adding 4g graphite powder and 2g sodium nitrate mixture to the concentrated sulfuric acid under vigorous stirring, adding strong oxidant potassium permanganate and controlling temperature of the system below 10 degrees C, stirring and reacting for 1 hour to complete the low-temperature intercalation reaction, moving the above reaction flask to constant temperature water bath, rising temperature of the system to (36 plus minus 2) degrees C, constant temperature and continuous stirring for 30 minutes to complete temperature oxidation reaction, adding 400-500ml deionized water, stirring reaction at (96 plus minus 2) degrees C for 20-30 minutes to complete high temperature hydrolysis, adding 60-100ml hydrogen peroxide (30%) to stop the reaction, filtering while hot and washing with deionized water to neutrality to obtain graphene oxide, adding appropriate amount of graphene oxide to the acetone solution, ultrasonically shaking for 45-60 minutes to obtain uniformly dispersed graphene suspension, and then transferring appropriate amount of grafting treatment to carbon fiber and ink suspension, reacting at 85-100 degrees C for 12-14 hours, performing suction filtration, washing carbon fiber after suction filtration, suction filtering, drying under vacuum at 60 degrees C for 5 hours to obtain graphene oxide secondary grafted carbon fiber, namely carbon fiber/graphene modified composite carbon material, weighing dried PBT, POE, carbon fiber/graphene modified composite carbon material, compatibilizer, antioxidant, and lubricant accurately according to the above-mentioned weight ratio, placing weighed components in high-speed mixer and mixing to obtain mixture, adding above configured mixture into torque rheometer, melting and mixing temperature is 230 degrees C, forming composite material obtained after blending by hot pressing with flat vulcanizer at hot pressing temperature of 235 degrees C, melting for 5-7 minutes, hot pressing for 10 minutes; and (B) processing heat preservation for 15 minutes to obtain PBT composite material.
