NOVELTY - An electrochromic device has a layer of a glass substrate (1701), a graphene/silver nanowire film (1702) provided on top of the layer (1701), a buffer layer of tungsten trioxide film (1703) provided on top of nanowire film, a layer of sol-gel tungsten trioxide film (1704) provided on top of the buffer layer, an electrolyte (1705) provided on the layer of sol-gel film, an indium tin oxide layer (1706) provided on the electrolyte, and a layer of a glass substrate (1707) provided on the indium tin oxide layer. USE - Electrochromic device is used for displays, photovoltaics, organic LED, transistors, sensors and energy storage systems. Can also be used for displays of medical computers, magnetic resonant imaging windows, cell phones, media players, and computers. ADVANTAGE - The electrochromic device has excellent electrical and mechanical properties, low sheet resistance and high optical transmittance and coloration/bleaching characteristics.
