NOVELTY - Photothermal material, is claimed. The photothermal material is composite material capable of absorbing near-infrared light and generating heat. USE - The photothermal material is useful in preparing materials for delivering exogenous substances into cells, tissues and/or organs (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The photothermal material has excellent transparency (greater than 90%) and excellent photothermal performance, enhances the permeability of cell membranes, achieves efficient intracellular substance delivery, and the delivery efficiency is generally greater than 80%, the cell viability is generally greater than 75%. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: Preparing the photothermal material comprising (i) reacting the nanoparticles and the conductive polymer, and compounding conductive polymer on the nanoparticles to obtain photothermal nanoparticles, and (ii) doping the photothermal nanoparticles into a polymer substrate to obtain photothermal material; and Delivering exogenous substances into cells using photothermal materials, comprising contacting the cells to be treated with the photothermal material, and contacting the cells with a liquid containing exogenous substances, irridating cells with light.
