NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene foam involves ball milling graphite oxide, dispersing in water, adding aluminum sulfate, magnesium sulfate or polyaluminum chloride, obtaining electrolytic solution, immersing graphite electrode and foamed nickel electrode in electrolytic solution, performing electrodeposition reaction, removing the foamed nickel electrode, drying to evaporate solvent, reacting in a muffle furnace under hydrogen and nitrogen mixed gas atmosphere, naturally cooling, immersing the resultant product in hydrochloric acid, and reacting. USE - Preparation of graphene foam (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides graphene foam by simple process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene foam involves adding graphite oxide to a ball mill, ball milling, ultrasonically dispersing the resultant slurry in water, obtaining a suspension, adding aluminum sulfate, magnesium sulfate or polyaluminum chloride, obtaining an electrolytic solution, immersing graphite electrode and foamed nickel electrode in electrolytic solution, performing electrodeposition reaction by supplying constant voltage to the electrodes, removing the foamed nickel electrode, drying to evaporate solvent, reacting in a muffle furnace under hydrogen and nitrogen mixed gas atmosphere, naturally cooling, immersing the resultant product in hydrochloric acid, and reacting.
