NOVELTY - Portable, exhaust gas purifying device (100) comprises: 1) intake means (102) configured to attach to exhaust pipe for intake of exhaust gases; 2) filtering chamber (110) connected to intake means (102), configured for exhaust gas filtration, where filtering chamber contains filters (120) to capture low carbon particles from exhaust gas, while passing through chamber, from intake means; 3) several electrostatic means (114) positioned beside each filter, configured to attract heavy carbon particles from exhaust gas while supplying power to electrostatic means (114); 4) several oscillating means (116) positioned between each of electrostatic means, and each filter, configured to knock filters, to remove captured low carbon particles from filters; and 5) collecting means (122) positioned at filtering chamber bottom, to collect low carbon particles and heavy carbon particles from filters and electrostatic means, where device facilitates effective filtering of exhaust gases. USE - Portable, exhaust gas purifying device is used in automobile exhaust pipe. ADVANTAGE - The portable exhaust gas purification device enables to effectively capture carbon dioxide from vehicle exhaust and reduce amount of discharge into environment. The device also enables to improve the purification of vehicle exhaust, by providing multiple filters in the exhaust gas purification device. The filter cleaning mechanism of the device, facilitates automatic cleaning of the filters periodically, and further the device enables to actively monitor the filters, and quality of exhaust gas that are released into the environment. The portable device has modular components for easy installation in any type of automobile. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A portable, exhaust gas purifying device (100) comprises: 1) an intake means (102) configured to attach to an exhaust pipe for intake of exhaust gases; 2) a filtering chamber (110) connected to the intake means (102), and configured for exhaust gas filtration, where the filtering chamber contains filters (120) positioned in parallel and configured to capture low carbon particles from the exhaust gas, while passing through the filtering chamber, from the intake means; 3) several electrostatic means (114) positioned beside each filter, configured to attract heavy carbon particles from the exhaust gas while supplying power to the electrostatic means (114); 4) several oscillating means (116) positioned between each of electrostatic means, and each filter, configured to knock the filters, to remove the captured low carbon particles from the filters; and 5) a collecting means (122) positioned at bottom of the filtering chamber, configured to collect the low carbon particles and the heavy carbon particles from filters and the electrostatic means, where the portable device facilitates effective filtering of exhaust gases. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the method used for effective filtering of exhaust gases using portable device, which involves: i) attaching intake means of filtering device, to exhaust pipe; ii) capturing low carbon particles from the exhaust gases, by filters, while passing through filtering chamber; iii) capturing heavy carbon particles from the exhaust gases and attracting oscillating means, by electrostatic means; iv) knocking on the filters, for cleaning the low carbon particles stuck on the filters, by the oscillating means, when the electrostatic means are deactivated; and v) collecting the low carbon particles and the heavy carbon particles, on deactivation, by collecting means, after cleaning.
