NOVELTY - A catalyst comprises 5-12 pts. wt. graphene, 14-25 pts. wt. aluminum compound, 60-80 pts. wt. iron compound and 1-3 pts. wt. copper compound. USE - Catalyst for producing divinylbenzene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst reduces energy consumption and improves the production efficiency, and has high catalyst activity, high ethylbenzene conversion rate, and excellent divinyl benzene selectivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) method for producing catalyst for production of divinylbenzene, which involves (i) weighing graphene, aluminum compound, iron compound and copper compound, smashing and mixing evenly, (ii) adding deionized water, kneading until the mixture is humidified, carrying out wet kneading, and extruding into spherical particles having diameter of 7-10 mm, and aging at room temperature for 10-14 hours, (iii) drying at 100-130 degrees C for 4-8 hours, calcining at 480-520 degrees C for 2.5-3.5 hours to obtain the catalyst; and (2) application of catalyst, which includes using the catalyst in a catalytic reaction of mixture of ethylbenzene and ethanol to produce divinylbenzene.
