NOVELTY - Preparing modified polyurethane material comprises (a) mixing carbon material, cyanate ester and polycaprolactone diol, and adding a catalyst to perform a catalytic reaction to obtain a prepolymer; and (b) mixing the prepolymer and the chain extender, demolding, carrying out heat preservation and pressure treatment, where the molar ratio of the cyanate ester, polycaprolactone diol and chain extender is 1-3: 2-5:1-3 and the weight ratio of the chain extender and the prepolymer is 0.025-0.4:1. USE - The modified polyurethane material is useful in polyurethane composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The modified polyurethane material utilizes carbon material to form a three-dimensional network structure with high porosity and high strength through in-situ polymerization; and has improved mechanical properties and thermal properties of the carbon-based polyurethane modified composite material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a modified polyurethane material obtained by the above mentioned method.
