NOVELTY - Preparing high volume energy density lithium iron phosphate lithium ion battery comprises (1) uniformly dispersing lithium iron phosphate material, anode binder and conductive agent and coating on the aluminum foil, and rolling, punching and baking to obtain the anode pole piece, (2) uniformly mixing cathode active material, cathode binder and conductive agent and coating on the copper foil, rolling, punching and baking, and obtaining the cathode pole piece, where the cathode active material includes graphite and silicon oxide material, (3) preparing the above-prepared anode pole piece, cathode pole piece and separator into a battery cell by lamination, and obtaining soft-pack lithium-ion battery by using aluminum-plastic film encapsulation method, and (4) injecting electrolyte and activating. USE - The method is useful for preparing high volume energy density lithium iron phosphate lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The silicon oxide is introduced into the cathode and a suitable addition ratio is found to maximize the volume energy density of the battery, the introduction of carbon-coated porous silicon oxide in the cathode has good cycle performance, and pre-intercalation of lithium can also improve the first Coulomb efficiency of the battery.
