NOVELTY - Welding electrode comprises a solid core wire having an iron (Fe)-based base metal composition, an electrically conductive coating formed on the solid core wire and includes electrically conducting elements or compounds in addition to or other than copper (Cu), and an additional functional coating formed on the electrically conductive coating and includes elemental antimony (Sb) and Sb oxides. USE - Welding electrode used for forming weld metal. ADVANTAGE - The welding electrode provides higher manufacturing flexibility and higher mechanical performance, improves physical designs and/or compositions of the consumable electrodes, and also improves consumable welding electrodes having functional coatings.
