NOVELTY - Graphite oxide is added to tetrahydrofuran, dispersed, and obtained graphene oxide solution is mixed with toluene diisocyanate and silica sol. The obtained mixture is decompressed, leached, washed and dried to obtain silica nanoparticle-grafted graphene oxide. The obtained product is added to epoxy resin substrate, decompressed, and 4,4'-diaminodiphenyl sulfone curing agent is added, mixed and dissolved. The obtained solution is cured and molded to obtain epoxy resin condensate modified by silica nanoparticle-grafted graphene oxide. USE - Manufacture of silica nanoparticle-grafted graphene oxide-modified epoxy resin condensate. ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently and economically provides silica nanoparticle-grafted graphene oxide-modified epoxy resin condensate having high productivity, by simple method without affecting the environment. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Tetraethoxysilane (10-50 ml) and tetrahydrofuran (20-100 ml) are mixed, and hydrochloric acid (0.2-0.5 ml) is added. The resultant mixture is stirred at room temperature for 24-72 hours, and deionized water (100-300 ml) and sodium chloride (10-100 g) are added and stirred uniformly. Liquid is separated from resultant product using a separating funnel, and subnatant liquid is discarded. Anhydrous magnesium sulfate (10-50 g) is added to upper organic liquid, stewed for one night, and filtered to obtain silica sol. Graphite oxide (0.1-1 g) is added to tetrahydrofuran (20-100 ml), and dispersed for 30-90 minutes in ultrasonic environment to form uniform and dispersed graphite oxide solution. Ultrasonic dispersed graphene oxide solution (2-10 ml) is added to three flasks provided with stirrer, thermometer and condenser pipe, and toluene diisocyanate (1-10 ml) is added gradually, heated at 30-100 degrees C for 12-36 hours, and silica sol (2-20 ml) is added and reacted for 48-72 hours. The obtained mixture is decompressed, leached, washed for 2-3 times with anhydrous ethanol, and dried to obtain silica nanoparticle-grafted graphene oxide in the form of ash black powder. The obtained product (0.2-2 g) is added to epoxy resin substrate (20-80 g), decompressed, and 4,4'-diamino diphenyl sulfone curing agent (2-16 g) is added, mixed and dissolved. The obtained solution is poured into a steel mold coated with silicone grease, cured and molded at 130 degrees C for 2 hours to obtain epoxy resin condensate modified by silica nanoparticle-grafted graphene oxide. The graphene oxide is prepared using chemically pure graphite as raw material by Hummers oxidation method. Tetraethoxysilane, tetrahydrofuran, deionized water, sodium chloride and 4,4'-diaminodiphenyl sulfone are analytically pure. Toluene diisocyanate, sodium chloride and anhydrous magnesium sulfate are chemical pure. The epoxy resin is E-44.
