NOVELTY - Producing zirconium dioxide nanocomposite with reduced graphene oxide, comprises: dispersing graphene oxide in a mixture of water and ethylene glycol using an ultrasonic probe; dispersing acetylacetonate zirconium(IV) in water and ethylene glycol using ultrasound; mixing the obtained dispersions and instilling a solution of hydrochloric acid; setting the pH of the mixture at 3-7; then placing the mixture in an autoclave, heating to 270-300 degrees C, and maintaining this temperature for 6-12 hours; cooling and subjecting to filtration; and repeatedly washing with water and ethanol and drying. USE - The method is useful for producing zirconium dioxide nanocomposite with reduced graphene oxide. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Producing zirconium dioxide nanocomposite with reduced graphene oxide, comprises: dispersing graphene oxide in a mixture of water and ethylene glycol using an ultrasonic probe; dispersing acetylacetonate zirconium(IV) in water and ethylene glycol using ultrasound; mixing the obtained dispersions and instilling a solution of hydrochloric acid; setting the pH of the mixture at 3-7; then placing the mixture in an autoclave, heating to 270-300 degrees C, and maintaining this temperature for 6-12 hours; cooling the mixture and subjecting to filtration on a polycarbonate membrane with a pore size of 0.2 mu m; and repeatedly washing the resulting material with water and ethanol and drying in vacuo at 100 degrees C. The weight ratio of graphene oxide to acetoacetate zirconium (IV) is 1:1 to 2:1. The weight ratio of graphene oxide to ethylene glycol is 1:743. The weight ratio of acetoacetate zirconium (IV) to ethylene glycol is 1:743.
