NOVELTY - Montmorillonite graphene aqueous zinc-rich primer comprises component (A) comprising 5-8 pts. wt. polymethylpentene, 2-5 pts. wt. polymethylacrylate, 1-2 pts. wt. organic montmorillonite clay, 0.5-2 pts. wt. inorganic montmorillonite clay, 5-10 pts. wt. aqueous epoxy curing agent, 0.1-2 pts. wt. dispersant, 0.1-1 pt. wt. defoamer, 0.1-1 pt. wt. molecular sieve and 60-90 pts. wt. zinc powder and component (B) comprising 70-90 pts. wt. aqueous epoxy resin emulsion, 10-25 pts. wt. graphene slurry, 0.1-1 pt. wt. defoamer and 0.1-1 pt. wt. substrate wetting agent. USE - The montmorillonite graphene aqueous zinc-rich primer is useful in coating. ADVANTAGE - The primer has excellent anticorrosion performance, high adhesion and high mechanical strength. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a method for preparing the primer, involving (a) evenly mixing polymethylpentene and polymethylacrylate, adding organic montmorillonite soil and inorganic montmorillonite soil under stirring, evenly stirring, continuously adding aqueous epoxy curing agent, dispersant and defoamer under stirring, dispersing or grinding at high speed, when the fineness is less than 40 mu m, slowly adding zinc powder, cooling, and controlling the temperature while stirring to obtain the component (A), and (b) adding aqueous epoxy resin emulsion, graphene slurry, defoamer and substrate wetting agent in sequence under stirring, uniformly dispersing at a stirring speed of 500-800 rpm, and filtering through a 120 mesh screen to obtain the component (B); and (2) use of the above-mentioned primer in coatings, where the primer comprises the component (A) and component (B) in a weight ratio of (3-5):1.
