▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The modulator has a metal and dielectric layers, and multiple microstructure units. The microstructure unit includes a metal bottom plate, a dielectric layer and a graphene-metal structure arranged layer by layer from bottom to top. The dielectric layer includes one or more than one layer of dielectric substrate. The graphene-metal structure includes a graphene strip (3), four identical metal structures (4) and two identical metal gates (5). The four metal structures of equal size are symmetrically distributed on both sides of the graphene strip with a certain distance. The two metal gates are respectively connected with two ends of the graphene strip. USE - Full phase dynamic modulator used in radar, security systems, bio-imaging, and future sixth-generation wireless network communication. ADVANTAGE - The total thickness of the micro-structure unit is far less than the working wavelength of the modulator, thus realizing full phase modulation in the range of 2 pi , and is convenient for subsequent processing and experiment test. The distance of the metal structure clung to the two sides of the graphene strip is 1-10 mu m, and the distance between the two metal structures tightly attached to the same side is 1 - 10 microns, thus allowing the full phase modulator to realize the phase modulation of 0 - 360 degrees better. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method of using full phase dynamic modulator. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a top view of a full phase dynamic modulator.
