NOVELTY - Composite electrode material, is claimed. The composite electrode material is prepared by using reduced graphene oxide as substrate, using ammonium molybdate as molybdenum source and thiourea as sulfur source, growing molybdenum disulfide on surface of reduced graphene oxide to form molybdenum disulfide-reduced graphene oxide (MoS2-rGO) composite material, and coating molybdenum disulfide-reduced graphene oxide (MoS2-rGO) composite material on surface of glassy carbon electrode (GCE) to form composite electrode. USE - Used as composite electrode material. ADVANTAGE - The electrode material: can significantly enhances electrochemical signals of graphene oxide-nano silver complex (GA-AgNPs). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the composite electrode material comprising (1) synthesizing molybdenum disulfide-reduced graphene oxide; and (2) polishing the glassy carbon electrode with 0.05 mu m alumina powder to smooth before each use; washing with deionized water, and drying in air; weighing 1 mg molybdenum disulfide-reduced graphene oxide, and dispersing in 1 ml mixture of water and ethanol, and ultrasonically forming stable molybdenum disulfide-reduced graphene oxide dispersion with concentration of 1 mg/ml; using microsampler to apply 2 mu l molybdenum disulfide-reduced graphene oxide dispersion to the surface of GCE electrode and drying at room temperature to obtain molybdenum disulfide-reduced graphene oxide/GCE.
