NOVELTY - A method for hydrogen storage using supported clathrate hydrates, involves (1) subjecting the mixture to cooling crystallization and heating to dissolve, and repeating the process at least three times to obtain a pretreated mixture, (2) putting the above-mentioned pretreated mixture in a high-pressure reactor, purging the reactor to vacuum, controlling the temperature of the reactor at 0-5 degrees C, and passing in 1.0-6.0MPa hydrogen, and stabilizing the pressure. USE - Method for hydrogen storage using supported clathrate hydrates. ADVANTAGE - The method effectively overcomes the high-pressure and low-temperature conditions of the existing hydrogen storage method, and makes the hydrogen storage safe and effective. The hydrogen storage method does not need to add any catalyst, and the hydrogen storage method is relatively simple and easy.
