NOVELTY - Use of nitrogen-depleted graphitic carbon nitride loaded magnesium nitride composite material as cathode material, is claimed. The preparation method of the composite material involves mixing raw material graphitic carbon nitride mixed with magnesium powder to obtain a precursor, and calcining under the protection of inert gas. The loading amount of the magnesium nitride is 22-45 wt.%. USE - Use of nitrogen-depleted graphitic carbon nitride loaded magnesium nitride composite material as cathode material used in cathode sheet for lithium-based battery, which is useful in electronic device (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The nitrogen-depleted graphitic carbon nitride loaded magnesium nitride composite material reduces the nucleation overpotential during lithium metal deposition, and improves conductivity and cycle stability of the battery.
