▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The method involves forming a layer of metal including a major surface. The major surface is annealed in oxygen to form oxide of the metal on the major surface. Layers of graphene are formed on the metal oxide opposite the major surface of the metal by carbon molecular beam epitaxy (MBE), where the metal is formed directly on a useful, magentizable/insulating substrate and on a surface that lies between the metal and the substrate and a ferromagnet is formed on the substrate at moderate room temperature of about not more than thousand degree Kelvin. USE - Method for forming composition of matter to control layer-by-layer growth of graphene layers i.e. macroscopically continuous single and multiple layer graphene films, on a useful, magentizable/insulating substrate using carbon MBE. ADVANTAGE - The method enables tuning fabrication of the macroscopically continuous graphene layers by appropriate substrate selection and treatment so as to offer broad field of nanotech applications and devices of improved performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a composition of matter. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a graph representing auger spectra acquired after deposition of graphene and showing characteristic line shape.
