NOVELTY - Preparing amphiphilic graphene oxide comprises (i) adding the amino polyol into dispersion containing graphene oxide, performing hydrophilic modification to obtain precursor I; and (ii) adding the silane coupling agent to dispersion liquid containing precursor I, and performing oleophilic modification. USE - The method is useful preparing amphiphilic graphene oxide. ADVANTAGE - The method: improves the hydrophilic and oleophylic performance of the graphene oxide. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) amphiphilic graphene oxide prepared by the method; and (2) surfactant, comprising at least one of the amphiphilic graphene oxide prepared by the method.
