NOVELTY - Method for preparing few-layer graphene by mechanical stripping involves using graphite paper as an anode and a graphite plate as a cathode, electrochemically stripping the anode in an electrolyte, filtering and separating to obtain an electrochemical stripping product, (ii) filtering and water-washing the electrochemical stripping product and drying to obtain electrochemically treated graphite, (iii) mixing a dispersant with water to obtain a mixed solution, uniformly dispersing the treated graphite in a mixed solution and carrying out mechanical stirring to obtain an electrochemically treated graphite aqueous dispersion and (iv) performing mechanical stripping on the dispersion to obtain a few-layer graphene aqueous dispersion and carrying out spray drying on the few-layer graphene aqueous dispersion. USE - The method is useful for preparing few-layer graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method does not require an organic solvent or an intercalation agent, adopts simple operation, is cost-effective and provides product with small radial size and few layers. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the few-layer graphene obtained by the method.
