NOVELTY - Preparing graphene nano-belt comprises (i) dissolving the small molecule condensed ring aromatic hydrocarbon and molten salt in solvent, and stirring under the inert atmosphere; (ii) adding catalyst for constant temperature reaction, and taking out the product; (iii) carbonizing the product under the inert atmosphere, water washing the carbonized product, and ultrasonically processing. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene nano-belt. ADVANTAGE - The graphene nano-belt has specific molecular structure, and can control the molecular weight by the control of the synthesis process, so as to control the band gap value. The used molten salt carbonization method for preparing technique raw material source is rich, low production cost, simple synthesis process, controllable, and easy to realize scale production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a graphene nanoribbon has a relative molecular mass of 500-2000 Kda, a width of 1-2 nm, a length of 3.0-15 nm, and a band gap width of 2.3-6 eV.
