NOVELTY - The method involves cooling the vessel and raw material for reaction at constant temperature for more than 4h at 0 degrees centigrade. The graphite is added into the reaction container. The cooled concentrated sulfuric acid is added, after sealing the reaction container. The potassium permanganate is added into the reaction solution after sealing the reaction container. The reaction system is heated to 75-85 degrees centigrade to keep the constant temperature stirring reaction for 2-4h. The deionized water is cooled and stirred uniformly to obtain the brown dispersion. The 30 % hydrogen peroxide solution is added in the brown dispersion and continuously stirred. The dispersion becomes bright yellow, and naturally settles for many times to obtain black oxidized graphene dispersion liquid. USE - Method for preparing graphene oxide by water bath. ADVANTAGE - The method provides oxidized graphene with high safety and high efficiency water bath. The method has simple and convenient operation. The method only uses the high borosilicate glass sealing tank, which not only greatly improves the safety of the preparation process, but also improves the yield of the graphene oxide. The water bath assisted oxidation stripping is always carried out in a sealed environment, so as to give very high safety.
