▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Nanocomposite composition comprises a silicone elastomer matrix having a filler loading of greater than 0.05 wt.%, based on total nanocomposite weight, where the filler is functional graphene sheet (FGS) having a surface area of 300-2630 m2/g. USE - The nanocomposite composition is useful to form an article (by casting or molding) including coatings, adhesives, sealants, flexible electrodes, actuators, pressure sensors, printed circuits or electromagnetic interference shielding materials (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The nanocomposite composition: exhibits increased modulus, strength, failure strain, electrical conductivity and lower gas permeability; and has superior mechanical, electrical and barrier properties, than the unfilled silicone elastomer. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for production of the nanocomposite composition comprising: dispersing FGS in a polar solvent to form an FGS suspension; combining the FGS suspension with a vinyl terminated polysiloxane; removing the polar solvent; combining the resulting mixture with a crosslinker and a hydrosilylation catalyst; and curing the resulting mixture to provide the nanocomposite.
