DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a method for preparing composite material, which involves mixing red phosphorus particles with nano graphene oxide ultrasonically followed by chemical reduction treatment, filtering and drying to obtain composite material; and (2) a lithium ion battery or sodium ion battery, which comprises cathode material.
