NOVELTY - Composite material comprises red phosphorus nano-particles and graphite, where nano red phosphorus particles is coated in graphene sheet structure. USE - Composite material used in lithium ion battery(claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material is prepared in simple and eco-friendly manner which has high specific capacity, good multiplying power performance and circulation stable performance, is safe and easy to realize industrial production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a method for preparing composite material, which involves mixing red phosphorus particles with nano graphene oxide ultrasonically followed by chemical reduction treatment, filtering and drying to obtain composite material; and (2) a lithium ion battery or sodium ion battery, which comprises cathode material.
