NOVELTY - Preparation of super-hydrophobic lipophilic nano-sponge based on melamine foam involves (s1) ultrasonically cleaning melamine foam and vacuum drying, (s2) dissolving zinc salt, strong alkali and surfactant in deionized water, mixing with alcohol solution of graphite oxide to obtain mixed solution, (s3) placing the treated melamine foam in the mixed solution to carry out solvothermal reaction, drying in air and vacuum drying, and (s4) pre-oxidizing and heat-treating under inert atmosphere. The alcohol solution of graphite oxide is prepared by ultrasonically dispersing graphite oxide in alcohol solution. USE - Preparation of super-hydrophobic lipophilic nano-sponge based on melamine foam for oil absorption (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The preparation method uses melamine foam as a substrate to grow zinc oxide and reduced graphene oxide composites on substrate through multistep reactions, and produces nano-sponge with excellent absorption capacity, strong structural stability for multiple cycles, excellent high temperature resistance and combustion resistance and ultra-light quality. The nano-sponge effectively solves the problems of low efficiency and high cost of oil-water separation in the existing material.
