NOVELTY - Forming tin dioxide/graphene oxide composite photo-catalyst involves adding 1 mg graphite oxide into 1-5 ml deionized water, then ultrasonically peeling at 90-1000 W for 0.5-4 hours to obtain graphene oxide dispersion; dissolving 0.1-10 wt.% stannous salt in acid solution to form precursor solution; adding the dispersion into precursor solution, then stirring by magnetic force to obtain mixed solution; placing mixed solution under an ultraviolet light source, and performing irradiation reaction to form a precipitate; and washing the precipitate and drying to obtain photo-catalyst. USE - For the preparation of tin dioxide/graphene oxide composite photo-catalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The present method is cost-effective, utilizes mild reaction condition, and is environment-friendly. The obtained photo-catalyst is stable.
